Education of Teacher relief quotas i limbo

The District Education office has not yet been able to appoint 21 new teachers under relief quota left over since last year, owing to political pressure.
The government had decided to discontinue relief quotas from fiscal year 2066/67 but there is no end to the exercise of power for securing the remaining quota. Disrict Education officer (DEO) Dev Narayan Yadav admits that the relief quotas have been in limbo due to an overflow of orderes from the ministerial level on how the quotas should be allocated. " persons come up with orders straight from the Minister for Education ," he said.
According to sources , Minister Ram Chandara Kusbaha has ordered Yaday to distribute the quotas among his own activists, and the number of persons coming with his order outnumbers other politicalparties alsokeep pressuring the DEO to secure the quotas for their own cadres.
DEO Yadav said the quotas will be distributed alsong with the 'per child fund (PCF) ' due to be disseminated from this year . The government came up with PCF after mullifying the relief quotas.
Last year 93 relief quotas were distributed for school in the district amid controversy over allegations that then DEO Hemanta Sing and trachers union officials used the quotas for personal gains . The remaining quotas include 12 in primary level, three in lower secondary and six in secondary level."Thank you"
